Our Story
About us
NCRS is a 501-C3 non-profit organization established in 2009, and composed of rheumatologists throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. While the majority of members are community-based physicians, our membership also includes academicians at universities and their associated rheumatology Fellows. These centers include UC Davis, UCSF, Stanford, the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group, and Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF). Since 2011, NCRS also expanded our membership criteria to include all allied health professionals and office support staff that are associated with any rheumatology practices.
Our Mission
The mission statement of the NCRS is to provide for the advancement of the care of patients with rheumatic and related diseases, through the professional development of its members, via educational programs on recent scientific advances in the field and practice of rheumatology and related medical specialties.
Our Goals
Education
NCRSÂ hosts free or low-cost educational seminars on recent scientific updates for our members in the form of dinner lectures and CME courses.

Connecting rheumatology experts from across the Bay Area, we offer a dedicated environment for medical professionals to foster collaboration and share knowledge.
